Animal pages are the most requested thing we make, so this category is organized by where an animal lives. Pets covers the companions kids already know by name. Farm, woodland, safari, ocean, and polar groups gather the animals you would meet in those places, and separate groups hold birds, bugs, reptiles and amphibians, and dinosaurs.
Each group leads to collections with an exact count of designs. Difficulty varies inside a collection on purpose. A set of dog pages includes a couple of very simple outlines for toddlers, several mid-level designs, and at least one fuller scene for older kids and adults.

For toddlers and preschoolers, look for designs marked "very easy" or "easy": one animal, thick outlines, and open areas that forgive an uneven grip. Kindergarten and early elementary kids usually enjoy the "medium" pages, where an animal appears with a simple setting such as a dog bed or a pond. Older kids and adults tend to prefer the detailed scenes and pattern-filled designs that show up in the larger collections.
Penguins are birds but also polar animals. Ducks live on farms and also on ponds. When that happens we publish the collection under the group people search for most and link to it from the other group, so there is one page to bookmark and one set of files to download.
